WATERLOOVILLE is to feature in one man’s epic bike challenge to raise money for charity.

Charles Delf, an employee of Countrywide, is taking on a 1,125-mile ride in support of Riding for the Disabled.

He will cycle 100 miles on 12 consecutive days to visit branches of the stores as far afield as Melton Mowbray, Wrexham, Carmarthen and Exeter, before heading back to Evesham, where the company is based, to complete the ride on May 11.

He will be passing through Waterlooville on May 9.

He said: ‘£25,000 is my target and I’m determined to reach it as the RDA does such fantastic work across all ranges of age and disability, both in the urban and rural environment.’
