MORE than half of young people in the region would rather do an apprenticeship.

Ahead of Thursday’s A-level results, research firm ICM says 53 per cent of young people in the south east would choose one over other training.

Skills Minister Matthew Hancock said: ‘I would urge more young people to consider whether an apprenticeship could be the right option for them.’
