BUSINESSES can help one man’s endeavours to raise money to fight prostate cancer.

Pompey fan Scott Mclachlan will attempt to walk to 92 football stadiums between August and April to raise money for charity.

It is a huge challenge which needs support groups the whole way and a massive amount of kit.

Scott is looking for firms to sponsor all or part of the kit and equipment he’ll need for the challenge, from torches and trousers to a sleeping bag and a tent.

His entire kit will cost less than £1,000 and he now wants a business to help him take the first step on his walk, which will leave from Fratton Park on August 19.

Scott said: ‘Late in 2011 I was thinking about which resolutions I could make to really make 2012 a year that would personally improve my life.

‘So in August, I am going to quit my job, put on my walking boots and travel the length and breadth of the country between each and every football league ground.’
