PLANS for a new Sainsbury’s store in Waterlooville are to go before councillors again.

The development, off Hambledon Road, has already been granted planning permission.

But the company has applied to Havant Borough Council to make minor changes, including reducing the height of the store by 1.2m from the original plans.

Highway changes include narrowing Hambledon Road to allow more pavement and a larger central island at a roundabout.

Councillors will make a final decision at a meeting at the Public Service Plaza at 5pm on Thursday.
