CONCERNED neighbours gathered to voice their objections to the latest proposed 120-home development in a village.

Hambrook, near Emsworth, is gripped by a housing rush, with 78 new homes granted this year and a further 153 homes proposed, including the 120-home estate proposed by Sunley Estates Ltd for land east of Broad Road.

At a meeting of Chidham and Hambrook Parish Council, Andy Collins, parish vice-chairman, said: ‘It’s my view that we have enough houses and don’t want any more.’

Sunley Homes’ plan will include sports facilities, tennis courts, a football pitch and cricket nets.
