A BUSINESSWOMAN who uses her expertise to help other entrepreneurial women just starting out in has won an award.

Allison Marlowe won Woman’s Coach of the Year at the Association of Coaches, Trainers and Consultants annual awards.

She runs the women’s networking group Winning Women, and last year she set up her own awards, the Hampshire Winning Women Business Awards, to recognise and celebrate the achievements of ‘womenpreneurs’ across the county.

She said: ‘My role as a coach and mentor is to help women create a vision and run their business in a way that serves them best, whether that is by helping them to manage their time, energy or make more profit.

‘Women really are making difference and I have great aspirations for helping them in 2012.

‘I am determined to get the message out to even more women to show you can run a successful business and a well-balanced life without the stress.

‘I am both delighted and honoured to be nominated and to win this prestigious award.’
