Jon Inwards is the manager at Flip Out UK.
He said: ‘We’re thrilled to have secured this site in Portsmouth.
‘Trampolining is a sport that can be enjoyed by all the family and we’re delighted to open this new facility for children, teens and adults across the south coast to enjoy.’
Guy Jackson is from property management company Lambert Smith Hampton Fareham.
He said it’s an exciting move.
‘This unit has been on the market for about 10 months now.
‘We had always envisaged it would have gone to an industrial occupier but with the demand of trampolining, it’s well suited to fit the requirements they need.
‘It’s a very unique use for that type of building.
‘I’m pretty sure they are hoping to open before Christmas.
‘It’s fantastic. It’s a good deal for our clients.’
The site will feature different types of trampolines and will be available for all ages.
Flip Out UK is the national branch of Flip Out Trampoline Arena, an Australian company, envisioned by CEO Brent Grundy as being a trampolining space for bouncers of all ages.
The company offers party packages as well as fitness classes, along with Little Ninjas classes for children and their Flip Fit classes designed for adult health.
The high quality and prominence of the unit resulted in competition between potential occupiers.
Harbourgate Business Park is now fully let.
