YOUNG entrepreneurs at Highbury College have been given a taste of the Richard Branson experience, as they joined in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress 2012 yesterday.
It is where business people from around the world celebrate enterprise and inspire young people to turn their dreams into reality.
Simon Paine, head of Highbury’s Centre for Entrepreneurship, said: ‘We are getting ready for the start of our Peter Jones Enterprise Academy courses in September and incredible events like this help develop the excitement and understanding among young people about entrepreneurship.
‘We are lucky the event is in the UK.’
It was hosted by Liverpool Vision, Global Entrepreneurship Week and The Kauffman Foundation.
One of Britain’s most successful entrepreneurs, Richard Branson, was the key note speaker at the event which aims to ‘unleash the will to win’.
