Who are the people you feel are role models in the city?
Do they have the voice and power to make a difference?

Where do you think leadership could be more significant?

Are there enough clever and creative men and women as well as people who can make money from real estate or retailing, or are they few in number, isolated without collective force and intention and getting frustrated?

Are there issues you feel aren't being addressed, or could be improved upon?

Ian Kane,

There don't seem to be any role models in Portsmouth. The place seems tainted with corruption. e.g Why doesn't the summer land train run to S.P. Pier, Canoe Lake, Model Village or the 10th hole. The rumour is that the owners don't want to jeopardise their own vested interests at Clarence Pier. What sort of negotiation agreed that sort of licence? The only role models that have struck me in Portsmouth are the footballers David James and Sol Campbell. They both seem to come across as articulate and humble though dynamic characters prepared to give their time and support to what they consider deserving causes and issues.
Have I mentioned the derelict seafront?
