They are the business equivalent of the BBC's Changing Rooms, carrying out radical real-life redesigns for firms across the land.
Now Solent Interior Systems Ltd (SIS), based in Pier Street, Lee-on-the-Solent, is celebrating a milestone in its march toward maturity – the firm's 16th birthday.
The office pace designer, founded by Simon Bailey and David Siddall, has grown year-o
n-year to become one of the leading commercial interiors specialists in the south, and now has an order book to rival many others.
The firm provides interior fit-out packages for large and small premises across the country, from call centres to offices and warehouses.
One prime example is Fonetrader in Stoke Road, Gosport, which required a complete change in its showroom to incorporate a telephone sales team.
To save Fonetrader cash, SIS installed a seamless glass partition wall to allow the telephone sales staff to attend to customers without the need for a permanent shop person.
Director Simon Bailey said: 'SIS has developed a unique partnership approach with many of their clients, built on trust and purpose, in order to work together to deliver the best result on time and within budget.
'SIS stands out from other interior fit-out companies, not only because we offer practical solutions but also because of the high level of customer care and attention to detail provided.
'Whether the need is for the reorganisation of present premises, a refurbishment – complete or partial – or relocation to new premises, SIS can meet all requirements.
'SIS can remove the risks and problems and alleviate the disruption involved, ensuring that the return on investment is significant.'
