WEBB/BARNETT: My parents are looking for two friends they lost contact with who were at their wedding nearly 50 years ago, as they are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary this August with a party. They would love to track down or find out if their best man, Dave Webb, and chief bridesmaid, Heidi Barnett, are still in the local area or indeed find out what happened to them via family members. The marriage of Pearl Wearn (nee Reeves) and Robin Wearn took place at St Mary's Church, Fratton on August 1, 1959. Best man Dave Webb last known to live at Penhale Road but upon doing his best man duty he was called off national service like my dad in north Cyprus and they lost touch. The bridesmaid was Heidi Barnett and she had a mother called Ilse who was German and father called David.
