Marc Bolan and T. Rex will be at the Kings Theatre, next Thursday when tribute band T.Rextasy recreate the legendary glam rocker's sound.
On the 30th anniversary of Bolan's death last year, the band was invited to perform at a celebration in London and stole the show, according to one reviewer.

They were also chosen to headline the first half of the Last Night Prom in Hyde Park in front of 30,000 people.

Voted number one in the BBC's Battle of the Fantasy bands, T.Rextasy are guaranteed to get you on your feet and have you yelling 'we love to boogie!'

They'll be performing T.Rex classics such as Get It On, Children Of The Revolution, Metal Guru, 20th Century Boy and Telegram Sam, and are the only tribute band to be authorised by the controllers of Marc Bolan's music catalogue.

For tickets to see T.Rextasy's Greatest Hits Tour at The Kings Theatre, Southsea, on Thursday go on line at www.kings-southsea.com or call the box office on (023) 9282 8282.
