For the rest of this month, the Spinnaker Tower is extending its opening hours to allow as many people as possible a night-time view of Portsmouth.

Normally the landmark visitor attraction is only open late on Saturdays during certain peak periods, but this month it's open from 10am to 10pm daily.
The sunset from 100 metres up can be stunning. The sun is due to set at the exact location of the Spinnaker Tower between 7.52pm and 8.50pm throughout August and can produce some magical effects.
Dusk begins between 8.25pm and 9.28pm. You can see things in the natural light as well some stars and planets at the same time.
For more information, see www.spinnakertower.co.uk or call (023) 9285 7520.
