Although they have known each other just a few years, their long-time mutual respect for each other's music and voices recently brought Maggie Bell and Dave Kelly together professionally.
An evening with these two stalwarts of the British R&B scene takes place at The Cellars at Eastney on Sunday.
Maggie Bell is founder member of Stone the Crows and has had a highly successful solo career on both sides of the Atlantic.
Dave Kelly is London's slide guitar king, having learned his trade in the backing bands of Son House, Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells to name but five blues legends. He has been a member of The Blues Band for the past 28 years.
