A charity concert in memory of a teenager who died suddenly during a football game is to take place next month.
Richard Bowler, 15, died in July 2002 while training with his local football club. He was rushed to hospital where he was found to have suffered a massive brain haemorrhage.

He never regained consciousness and died the following day.

The Smile4Rich charity was then set up in memory of the schoolboy from Brookfield Community School, Fareham.

All money raised for the charity goes to the Wessex Neurological Centre at Southampton General Hospital.

The Lions Club of Swanwick and the Tuesday Evening House Group of St Paul's Church, Sarisbury, have teamed up to arrange the concert to raise money for the charity.

It will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 4, at the Sarisbury Green Community Centre.
