The date has been set for when Fareham is to be judged for its blooms.
Judges from the South and South East in Bloom best parks will be in the borough on Monday, July 13.

At 1pm the judges will be visiting Holly Hill Woodland Park, which achieved a prestigious Green Flag last year.

The judges will then visit the sensory garden at 3.30pm, a short walk from Fareham Shopping Centre. Last year the garden was given a Gold and regional winner for the Best Small Park.

The garden was opened in 1998 in memory of Princess Diana and its design is based on senses of touch, sound, vision, smell and taste.

Fareham Councillor Connie Hockley said: 'Fareham Borough Council, Friends of Holly Hill Woodland Park along with the Fareham in Bloom have worked hard throughout this past year to achieve a high standard of visual amenity across the borough making the town a more attractive area to live and work.'
