Fight to save Hampshire payphones

Residents are being urged to have their say on the removal of telephone boxes across Fareham.
BT plans to axe six little-used public payphones across the borough .

Fareham Borough Council, leader Sean Woodward said: 'Removing these public payphones would be a great loss to the community.

'Not everyone has a mobile phone and although they may not be used often, public payphones do provide an important service.

Comments sent to the council by August 22 will be passed on to BT.
