I went to 'Tiger Tiger' for my sister and brothers birthday, i travelled down from London and there was a mixed group of 16 ladies and men either from London or Southampton. We were really looking forward to it...but unfortunatly had the worst night of our lives!!! We booked to be on guestlist to arrive by 10pm, we were at the door at 9.30pm. As soon as we arrived the so called manager refused entry to 1 of our group because he had on Prada shoes, apparantley they were too casual, even though they prob cost more than the managers whole outfit! So he decided not to ruin our night and went home. Then they tried to charge us £7, because they left us standing outside til after 10pm, when it was meant to be a queue jump with free entry g.list! The club was totally confusing to get around, it was so over crowded that we were like sardines in a tin, which im sure was not good for health and safety, if there was a fire or something it would be a nightmare to get out of! My niece was spiked by someone and ended up collaspsing in the toilet, needing to be taken out by 4 security, who admittingly did do their best to look after her. Then my sister whose 25th bithday it was, went out at around 12am for a cigarette and was refused entry back into the club, even though she had a stamp on her hand! They wouldn't even let her back in to find one of our group. She never had a phone on her so couldn't call one of us, which she explained to the manager, but was still refused re-entry. Because the club was so big we had all gone off into different rooms so no-one had noticed her gone for at least an hour. She was left stranded with no coat or phone in a strange place. She was then refused a taxi as they were not willing to travel to Southampton and we had hired a minibus which was not picking us up till 2pm. Eventually after lots of crying and begging she managed to get a taxi which then cost her £40!! When we got a call at 1.15am saying she was at home, we went to complain to the manager for not letting her back in and he assured us that she was safely escorted and put in a taxi by one of his doormen...which was a total lie and he then said she was refused back in because she was too drunk...again a lie as she had only drank 2 drinks all evening, due to the bar service being so slow!! He was very unco-operating, rude and arrogant and beacause of his stupidity my sister could have ended up in a worst situation than she did!! I will never ever go there again, and i would advise any lady to be very aware that she could end up either spiked, or stranded by herself or even worse if she chose to spend a night in 'Tiger Tiger' in Portsmouth!!!!
