The cinema is located in the heart of gun wharf quays and so it is guaranteed that people will use the facility. I think that this has made the staff complacent as the ticket office is often closed, there are long queues for food and the staff are young and not particularly helpful or friendly. In addition, the price of the tickets seems to go up up every time we visit!

Turned up late for the adverts but just in time for Les Miserables, the Reception area was unmanned, no directions where to go. We had to exchange the Vue tickets for he actual film tickets. went to the food area who sent us to the sweet area to exchange tickets. Never actually sat on the correct seats as there was no one there to show us too them, lucky there was nobody on the seats as you went in.  However beside this the film was enjoyed by the 3 off us.

Loveddd ittt! Went there on a date and it was amazing! There are some really shoddy cinemas that are local but this particular vue was great, so clean, screens were big and the range of treats to purchase was great, gym had to be visited the next day!

Would definitly recommend this cinema, as it is clean, modern and centrally loacted, easily accessible by foot (if you live near) or by car (and also get discount parking – £1.70 for 4 hours).
Me and my friends visit this cinema most wednesdays (due to orange wednesday (+student) discount – so a film costs me around £3-4, bargain!).
But best to bring your own snacks, as food and drink is very pricey.
Also really rate this cinema as it usually has late showings on all new films, so you can avoid the queues earlier in the night (which are sometimes pretty bad!).
Would also note that cinemas can get pretty chilly, so bring an extra layer!

It's a Vue cinema, so you know you can expect good screens, VIP seats and decent sound. You can also expect queues, high prices and low quality food (aside from the B&J ice cream). I was disappointed that they seemed to struggle with a fairly reasonable amount of custom for a rainy Saturday.

Like all cinema outings, visiting Vue comes with a price! However Orange Wednesdays are of coruse valid in this cinema and can be put to good use! (NB: On Orange Wednesdays, the queue’s flood far and wide so don’t be scared to buy your tickets from the sweetie or snakcs counters - why people choose to wait outside for the outside booking desks is beyond me)This cinema has many different screens so there is a good chance your film will be on at the time you want! The staff are always very friendly and if you loose anything inside, they keep a log of what they have found (from past experience!)
Another great thing about Vue is that they offer discount parking when you use the self-service car parking ticket stamper before or after the film (located by the snacks desk)

Althought this cinema can be quite pricey (especially if you have kids, sweetie counter alert!) it is spacious, the cinemas have plenty of leg room (essential with crutches) and the staff seem well trained and are always friendly.

They always have the latest films showing, and seem to run them longer than a certain other big chain of cinema.

I love taking my brother and sister, but like i say above, if you take kids it is probably worth taking snacks and drinks with you, as the costs can mount :( That said, it is my only complaint about a generally well run and wel looked after cinema!
