Hubby & I went too a Wedding Reception on a Saturday night, the couple had actually got married in the Captian’s Cabin earlier on the day. There was only 2 pumps, lager & something else, cider or bitter can’t remember, wine & bottles of Becks which were expensive.
Music playing until The Band came on & they were extremely good, which I cannot remember the name off, the leader singer was very good, in fact so were the musician’s.
Because of the set up, it lost a bit on intimacy for a Wedding Reception.

Parents visiting from Scotland, same Guide as previous, they really enjoyed going round & said the same as self that the Guide was very knowledgeable & came across very interested in his job.

Lived in Gosport & worked in Pompey for many years, but never actually visited until now, after visit wondered why not? Thought it was more interesting than the Victory believe it or not. The Guide was very knowledgeable. A few ladders to go up & down, bigger than you expect, amazing how they lived. Well worth a visit

The visit to HMS Warrior is the best thing in Portsmouth Dockyard. You can wonder around the ship and ask the well-informed attendants about the ship. Much better than he Victory where you will be whisked round by a serving RN rating who doesn't know much more than he has been incorrectly informed.

HMS Warrior is a nice attraction when visiting Portsmouth, located in the Naval Dockyards this 1860’s ship was the first of its kind. Unlike HMS Victory this ship never saw battle and was well known for peace keeping. Lovely attraction to stop by and see, i managed to make a day of it and see the Dockyards, HMS Victory and Hms Warrior, Naval enthusiasts and children will love it. Days out with nothing planned? Perfect answer.
