 The service was adequate but unremarkable - I had the impression that my waitress was fairly bored and perhaps didn't want to be there. It didn't really make me feel welcome in the restaurant.

For my dinner I ordered the BBQ meatball pizza, priced at £10.75. The pizza was very thin, virtually flat, like a bit of cardboard that had some toppings thrown on. There was very little mozzarella cheese. The pork and beef meatballs, that I have had twice before and loved both times, tasted like reconstituted mush. They did not taste like pork or beef. The red pepper and onions were raw and just thrown on top as if the chef had forgotten to put them on before.

Frankie and Benny's is no longer that cheap compared to other Italian restaurants and the quality is far too poor to warrant the price.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience and it will be the last time I visit this restaurant.

I went to a F&B 2 years ago and really enjoyed it, but hadn’t visited one since. Slime and I decided it was time to go together. Very reasonable prices and quick service. I had a goat’s cheese calzone which was much better than I expected, and the partner had some sort of meaty pizza which I know he loved. I’d definitely go again

Excellent choice of food and friendly staff.

Meals are delivered quickly so makes this the ideal place to go before you go to the cinema or you are in a hurry.

Nice atmosphere but a bit generic, all the restaurants look the same. The staff were not very attentive and the food was cold and tasteless. The whole restaurant stopped to sing happy birthday twice in the hour we were there, I found it a bit tacky. Won't be going back.

This is a standard Frankie and Benny’s restaurant-lacking in unique character. Don’t get me wrong-the food is awesome and the place is very nice, but there must be a standard 'wall decoration pack’ that all Frankie and Benny’s restaurants receive. You can go to any F&B’s anywhere and it will look exactly the same. The menu is very nice, an american italian mix with pizza, pasta, burgers and cheesecake. The place itself gets very busy and it can take up to an hour to be seated. Unfortunately, the bar area only has like, 3 seats so you could be standing around a long time…Worth the wait though.

Felt like i was in new york whilst sitting , waiting for my meal! very busy, have to wait ages at certain times to be seated but once there the food is amazing, we all loved it, frankie and bennys dosnt sound very italian but everything else about it is, loved it.

This is not my favorite place to eat at Gunwharf, but it comes high up on my list. Great staff, great restaurant. Choice of vegetarian meals on the menu not easily adaptable for a vegan, too much cheese! But the meals that i can adapt are very good.

A little on the pricey side, but thats what you have to expect for a good restaurant somewhere like Gunwharf. Can get very busy on a Saturday and Sunday, also Thursday and Friday nights.
