Big queue on a Saturday. The service is delivered by hard working teenagers who assume you know the system. The service is designed for profit not customer satisfaction. Ordered a Chai Latte and it would have been ok if they had not over sweetened it. Others in our party ordered tea, had to ask for a container to take milk to the table. No where to put your used teabags except on the table. Starbucks is not for me!

I really enjoy the fact that you can order a coffee just the way you like it and they have all the extras including lots of different syrups.

The quality of there drinks is alwasy excellent and if you do have any problems the staff are usually very helpful.

Taking a family here for drinks and food is increadibly expensive, but for the occasional coffee it’s worth treating yourself.

The seating areas are comfortable and they even have a few tables outside. I’ve always been served quickly and I find paying by card is most convenient.

I think starbucks is great. It is in a good location inside gunwharf quays and is perfect for a morning drink or a shopping break. I can never fault the coffe or hot chocolate and love the range of special they bring out in summer and christmas time. The seats are comfy sofa seats or tables if you are eating. The drinks are expensive for what they are but no different from other coffee shop prices. They stock a nice selection of gifts which are great stocking fillers, mugs etc

If it weren’t for the fact it’s so expensive I’d give Starbucks a 5 star rating. The coffee always tastes good and they have a great range of hot and cold drinks, Even if you don’t like coffee there is plenty to choose from. They have a good selection of savoury and sweet food. I’ve tried most of their cakes and they’re all really, really tasty. Sometimes it’s impossible to find a seat, but if the weathers OK it’s not a problem as there’s plenty of seating in the Gunwharf.

When this Starbucks opened it didn’t have toilet facility. I often used to bag the sofa at the back, and if I’d had a pound for every ti,me some one had asked me if they had a toilet I’d be rich by now! However a while ago they put in toilets, so now it’s even better.

Oh one little thing, they often run out of spoons (and you normally have to ask for one anyway), if like me you dislike the wooden stirrers.

You either love it or you hate it, and I have to admit I’m a big fan. I find the Starbucks at the Gunwharf a very relaxing place to spend a Sunday afternoon with a coffee and a paper, especially if you can bag one of the comfy sofas! OK so the drinks are a tad expensive, but in the summer nothing beats a Caramel Frappachino and in the winter it has to be a Gingerbread Latte! Service is always very efficient, but queues can still be long on the weekends
