I have been coming to neveah for many years and would and have highly recommended neveah to friends an family over the years,and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, always a warm and friendly atmosphere and truthful advice on colors and cuts that would or wouldn't suit you or felt pressured into a cut that you are uncomfortable with which has been my experience with many other hairdressers,or forced into buying products, Brian and becky are a great team and for me I always have a laugh when I'm there oh and the shop always smells lush an Brian Does a brillient job on there Christmas window display :)

I have been looking for a new salon to become regular as the one I use had become too expensive. Found this salon by reading the reviews online and thank goodness I did. I find going to the hairdressers very stressful (what to talk about etc) , no such worries here. Beautiful simple and stylish salon which smelt heavenly. Becki and Zara made me very welcome. Becki was incredibly knowledgeable about how to sort my hair (hi-lights) following years of punishing colouring, moving from red to blonde .And her recommendations were spot on. Zara did a fantastic job with the hi-lights and cut, I just could not get over how beautiful my hair looked when I left. And we have a long term plan which is not only workable but affordable. 
Offered tea/ coffee/ lovely magazines etc without being overly-fussed and it felt completely pressure free. Just warm and friendly and not a chore in any way. For the first time I can remember, I will actually be looking forward to my next appointment, and I will be telling everyone I know what a superb salon this is. Wish I had found it before now .

Started going here a couple of years ago on recommendation from my mum. The first thing that struck me when I walked in was the lovely aroma of their shampoos and conditioners - its great to know that your hair is going to smell like that afterwards! They treat your hair with respect and if you get your hair coloured then this is a good place because their dyes are gentle on your hair - I've had a few t-sections done here and always looks really natural. If you like a good chat the hairdressers are really friendly, but if you just want to relax then you can read magazines. I took my boyfriend here to get his styled after he cut off his long dreads (eek!) and it looked really cool so mens cuts are great too. I really, really like the head massage you get when your having your hair washed. The cuts don't take long but unlike other (more chain-like) hairdressers you don't feel like you're being whisked in and out. They do student offers too which is good and I always come back when I'm in town. there are plenty of hairdressers in portsmouth but I definately recommend this one!

I visited Nevaeh Hair today. I had just had hair extensions and needed a very quick trim to tie the extensions in with my own hair. They fitted me in straight away. Couldn't have been more friendly. What a fab cut also. I will definitely be visiting again. thank You so much. X

Great place to go always do an excellent job on my hair, warm and welcoming atmosphere which always makes you feel comfortable- guaranteed every time to be happy with your hair- even after a bad dye job previously and Becki is really lovely :)

My  hairdresser left the salon I used to go to which then sent me on a trail to find a replacement so have tried most of the main salons in Southsea.  Then one day woke up and and wanted my hair cut that day, you know how it is and went to Albert road.  Navaeh hair had sign saying 'Appointments available' so walked in.  Becky saw me straight away and I have never looked back. Its a real treat going there and it always smells delicious too which just adds to the relaxed atmosphere. I've always been happy with colour and cut and Becky always gives great advice without being overbearing. I've recommended to family and friends who have also been pleased

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and brilliant head massage – i have nothing but appraisal for this salon! =D
I have been visiting this salon for the past two years (after moving to portsmouth to study at uni) and will miss it greatly when I finish my course next year and have to move back home!
They do a wonderful job at cutting your hair exactly how you want it and are also reasonably priced (espeacially with the bonus student discount).

Nevaeh Hair is the best salon I’ve ever been to. After getting my hair messed up by a salon that shall remain unnamed, the girls at Nevaeh quickly sorted me out with a cool colour and cut. This was in 2007 and I’ve been coming back ever since despite moving to London. They do exactly what you ask them to do and are always friendly and chatty. I get my hair dyed blonde and it’s always a really natural colour that people think I’m naturally blonde. I sometimes get it cut, and it’s never too short unless I ask for it to be.
All in all, Nevaeh offers a friendly, amazing service that listens to what you want. A great price and I’m always a satisfied customer coming out! Can’t recommend it enough!

As someone who is terrified at the thought of having her hair cut off, i was nervous as i walked into this salon. I certainly need not have worried though, as the team here make you immediately at ease.

I’ve never experienced such a laid back working atmosphere! Bekki, Cam and Brian work extremely well together. They straight away put my fears aside, and went to great lengths to make sure i got exactly the cut i wanted.

We have progressed since then, and i now have an awesome cut that i never thought i’d a) be able to pull off, and b) have the bits to have chopped in the first place!

On top of all the hospitality (tea, drinks etc) this salon charges a very reasonable price, as is far cheaper than others around.

I’m a devoted customer, and cannot see myself going anywhere else anytime soon.

Another thing - tuesdays and wednesdays ar good for students, they get 10% off with a valid student card.

Oneextra added bonus here is the fact that Nevaeh use a product called Hempz - a natural product mae from hemp seed oil. As a Vegan, natural products get my vote 100%, and i’m more likely to be loyal to a salon that offers something like this. That and it makes you hair look and feel amazing!
