£15m price tag put on Crouch

Pompey would have to pay £15m to land Peter Crouch, according to Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez.
The England striker, who became a popular figure at Fratton Park during his one-season spell back in 2001-02 campaign, has been linked with a return to Pompey this summer after kicking his heels on the Anfield bench.

But Benitez will not let him leave on the cheap.

Benitez said: 'Crouch wants to play every week but knows he must fight it out with Fernando Torres.

'We keep seeing Portsmouth linked with the player but we have had no offer as yet.

'A £15m price tag for Crouch would not be unreasonable.'

He's bluffing. Crouchy's deal is running out and I doubt he would re-sign. Liverpool will take the money at this point in time. He'll go for nearer £10m.

15 mil for crouch, haha haha haha, r u having a laugh benitez u big fat roily poily bearded monster, if crouch is worth 15 mil then my 87 year old one legged gran is worth 10! I am assuming ur getting ur english numbers mixed up, i know u haven’t quite grasped r language yet so ill let u off, come back and say 5 mil and we'll have him.

this is from a source inside the club i cant say who, we are in talks with nikola zigic, and john mensah, and a serbian midfielder roumerd to be costing a pricey combined £34 million!!

15 million....thats the sort of money pay for a prolific goal scorer...wouldnt pay any more than 10 for him...dont get me wrongs hes a very good player but not worth that amount considering thats what barcelona spent on henry!
