Harry Redknapp was pleased with his team as they chalked up their second pre-season win on the bounce at Bournemouth tonight.
Pompey ran out comfortable 4-1 winners against Bournemouth at Dean Court.
Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch were at the heart of the win as they grabbed three of the four goals.
Redknapp was happy with what he saw from the duo and the rest of the team.
That was in contrast with what he thought of the display against Swindon on Friday.
He said: 'It was a better performance from the boys tonight.
'The football we played in the second-half was sharper and we kept it better.
'I'm sure Peter and Jermain will go on to be a great partnership for this club.
'They showed what they can do. I'm sure there's more to come from them.
'There is still a lot to work on though, and we would definitely like to bring one or two players in at least.'
