Pompey striker Peter Crouch admits it will be a 'dream come true' for Portsmouth to play AC Milan in the UEFA Cup.
The Premier League outfit have been drawn alongside seven-time European Cup winners Milan, while Heerenveen, Braga and Wolfsburg also came out of the hat in Group E.

Crouch netted twice as harry Redknapp's side overcame Guimaraes after extra time on a glorious night in Portugal.

And the front man - who made a substitute appearance against Milan for former club Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final of 2007 - is looking forward to another meeting with the Italian giants.

'I'm very excited,' Crouch said.

'To play against AC Milan is a dream come true, certainly for the fans and the people at Portsmouth, and for the players as well.

'They (Milan) were expected to be in the Champions League and it is a fantastic challenge for us.

'The fact that we are playing teams like AC Milan, testing yourself against the best teams in the world, is a credit to the manager.'

Could victory over AC Milan at Fratton Park be the best result in the history of the club?

At fratton park i'd say yes but i don't think you could get any better than beating Cardiff in the FA Cup final

Jury's out on this one for me. On our side, we're playing at the fortress, with our legions of fans racking up the stands. We're doing well in the league as well, and our little 'n' large combo are starting to shine, the likes of Traore and Belhadj are providing a lethal partnership as well, Johnson's picking himself up, Kranjcar should be back by then (finger's crossed!) and James has had his poor games out of the way, and he'll only get better again.

But, they are AC Milan. And they have Ronaldinho and Kaka.

But I'm optomistic. WE CAN DO THIS!!!! PUP!

First Division no-hopers to First Division Champions.
Premier league relegation certainties to miracle escapees.
FA Cup outsiders to FA Cup Winners.
Who would bet against Harry on this one?
