HARRY REDKNAPP has pledged not to disrespect the Premier League battle for survival.
The Blues boss is adamant he will field a full-strength side for Sunday's league finale with Fulham.
That's despite the Fratton Park fixture taking place just six days before the FA Cup final.
Birmingham City and Reading's top-flight futures will be influenced by the result.
Redknapp also sees the clash with Roy Hodgson's men as a chance for his own side to build-up some much-needed form heading into the Cup final.
The 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on Saturday was Pompey's third loss in a row and fourth match without a win.
And he has vowed to select the strongest side possible.
He said: 'We will get stick if I put a reserve team out but I won't be doing that next week. No way. I wouldn't disrespect other managers who are in a relegation battle by picking a very, very, very weak team.
'I wouldn't want somebody doing that to me so I wouldn't want to do that to them. It's happened in the past and I think it's disrespectful.
'If we are fit next week then they will all play. It will be a good atmosphere with a good crowd and we will be having a go – I promise you.
'Fulham have done absolutely marvellous to get themselves back into it. They were dead and buried and have done what we did two years ago when we came back.
'They are going to be having a real go next week – it will be a fierce game.
'But we want to win it and I think we will. Let's be honest, if we'd have had a half-decent finish, we could have ended up finishing, at worst, sixth.
'Even on Sunday, if we beat Fulham and Villa get beaten at West Ham we may still get sixth.'
