Harry denies Luisao rumours
HEARD the one about Benfica's Luisao? Harry Redknapp certainly hasn't.
Pompey have this week been linked with a £15m move for the Brazilian defender.
Apparently, as recently as two weeks ago, they dispatched scouts to Portugal to check on him in Benfica's 2-0 defeat to Porto.
Not that the name attracts any semblance of recognition from Redknapp himself.
The Blues boss insists he has never heard of him, let alone instigated a summer swoop.
And he also shot down other rumours surrounding Spurs' Pascal Chimbonda and West Brom defender Paul Robinson.
He said: 'Luisao – who? Sorry, don't know him.
'Chimbonda, no, he's a right-back and I've got the best right-back in England in Glen Johnson. I don't need another.
'I don't need Paul Robinson either, no. He's a good little player, but no.'
