Lassana Diarra's ankle injury is not as bad as first feared - and the Frenchman could even be fit for Saturday's clash with Hull.
Diarra was expected to be out for up to three weeks after being helped off the pitch against West Ham.

However, a scan has revealed the damage is not as severe as expected and the fromer Chelsea and Arsenal man will be fit for the momentous Uefa Cup tie against AC Milan.

Pompey will make a decision ahead of the Tigers match when Diarra returns from international duty on Thursday.

Our physio (Gary Sadler ?)is still amazing, Baz, and let's hope Judas doesn't poach any more of our staff, including him and the excellent David Coles. That garlic, Beaujolais Nouveau and Du Boursin must be damn good ! PUP !

Mr Beattie, what has happened to Dave? Kranjcar19 I'm afraid it looks as though David Coles is on his way to spurs. I just don't understand why when Pompey let Harry go that we didn't get assurance that he would not take anyone with him as part of the deal?
