It would have been easier to replace Kranky than Muntari!

On the surface it appears that one of our stars must be sacrificed to allow Harry to complete his wish list. Not sure we all agree, but at end of the day, with a limited capacity crowd, we need income to support the outgoings.
This is why it is so important to get a new ground and hopefully new sponsors with it, to enable Harry and the team to improve and stay on par with the likes of Villa, Spurs, Man. City, Everton & Blackburn. I suspect there may be a surprise package or two this season and Wigan might just be one to keep an eye on.

Well if Mendes and maybe Davis/Pamarot/Nugent go then we' should have enough to afford new players, so much as it pains me to say it I'd sacrifice them to get SWP and a quality left back/central defender.

Accoring to BBC website Sulley is on his way to Inter for £12.7m after agreeing a 4 year deal and Mendes looks like he is going north of the border. I'm not sure if this is good business even if it does mean that SWP come to Fratton. Mendes yes, but not Sulley.

I don't reckon it is good business at all! Yes, we've made a good quick pofit, but every1's always bangin on bout takin foriegners a season to settle in the prem, so who's to say he wouldn't of had an alot better season next time round+then these club would be looking at signing him for alot more...In diarra+muntari, i was hoping to base our team round them for the next 5years, but then sully is goin+diarra could go within the next couple of years to a big big club! What will we do then?? sell kranjar for 15m!!!!!!!!!

Well If the reports are correct and Muntari is off then so be it, there's nothing we can do short of say thanks and goodbye and hope that the money coming in from Inter is spent wisely. I mean if we then purchase Shorey, SWP & Kaboul it wouldn't be a bad piece of business now would it?

Today's Vote
Is Tony Adams right to make changes to the Pompey side who beat Blackburn?
Adams should stick to the side that earned him his first win at Fratton Park
He should only change things around if there are injuries
If Campbell and Kranjcar are fit they should start
Davis deserves a starting role after his heroics against Blackburn
With a heavy fixture schedule coming up, changes are needed
