Linvoy Primus admits he has yet to decide whether he will return to Pompey when his loan deal expires.
The popular defender was loaned out to Charlton in September on a three-month agreement in a bid to work his way back to full fitness following a lengthy spell out with a knee injury.

But with his stint set to end next month and a change in regime at Pompey while he's been away, Primus will discuss his options with Tony Adams within the next fortnight.

Primus, who has made seven appearances for the Addicks, said: 'There have been a lot of changes at Portsmouth in recent weeks with Tony replacing Harry Redknapp as manager, and a few other people have left too, so I haven't had the chance to discuss my future yet.

'I spoke to Tony when he took over to wish him all the best but we didn't speak about my situation.

'But he knows I am here and I have told him it's going really well. I am sure we will sit down soon and have a chat about it, but right now I'm probably bottom of his list of priorities!'

Although Charlton's recent results have left Alan Pardew's side hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone, Primus admits he is relishing the chance to play first-team football again.

He said: 'This time last year, almost to the day, I was in America having an operation on my knee and I didn't know if I would ever play again.

'The big thing for me is that I am playing fairly regularly and I have a good relationship with all the players and the staff here.

'There are a lot of factors to weigh up for me and I have to think about what is right for myself, for Charlton and for Portsmouth.

'I lost a lot of time through injury last year and my main aim is to just play as much football as possible, for as long as I can.'

Fantastic player for Pompey and a club legend, but I can't see Linvoy playing regularly for us now. Pompey will surely find him a job, but he's too far down the pecking order now, sadly.

Linvoy is a true great of Pompey - and someone who has always overcame the odds. The shouts of Linvoy for England are well in my memory.
He deserves a good send off as said earlier a fantastic ambassador for PFC

How about giving him the job of how to be a truthful, non winging, hard working, give 110% always, reliable, honorable and gentleman coach. First mission ( some would call it mission imposable) teach Harry Redknapp.

And one more thing. I'm sick and tired of all the Harry Jibes. I'm as bigger Pompey fan as any and been to hundreds of games and with my season tickets. If it was not for Redknapp we would possibly being playing League 1 football. Its boring and old now. One thing i have learned being a hardened supporter of our sport is that football is about having great memories and positive experiances. Harry gave us many. He could have conducted himself better at the end admittedly. But if a competitor offered me 4 times my salary and better working conditions believe me i'd be off like a shot as would all of you. Unless it was for Pompey cos i'm Pompey born and bred but Harry is not like us. Understand? Rant over.
