As the dust settles on the club's maiden excursion into Europe and the hangovers have just about cleared, Pompey fans can look back on some happy memories from the trip to Portugal.
As usual, The News was there every step of the way and we have the evidence to prove it in the shape of a video diary from the UEFA Cup clash with Vitoria Guimaraes.

Reporters Neil Allen, Steve Wilson and photographer Steve Reid were there to witness a special occasion in the club's history as Peter Crouch fired a vital double to earn a 2-2 draw on the night after extra-time.

But the trip was more than just about the match as Pompey fans enjoyed the sights and hospitality of Porto, Braga and Guimaraes in the October sunshine.

The memories will live long for those in the town square on the afternoon of the game, as Blues fans and Guimaraes supporters embarked on a 1,000-strong party.

And with Pompey booking their place in the group phase, fans can do it all again.

We Can Do It

Today's Vote

Is Tony Adams right to make changes to the Pompey side who beat Blackburn?
Adams should stick to the side that earned him his first win at Fratton Park
He should only change things around if there are injuries
If Campbell and Kranjcar are fit they should start
Davis deserves a starting role after his heroics against Blackburn
With a heavy fixture schedule coming up, changes are needed
