A Gosport school was described as a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in a glowing report by Ofsted inspectors.
In the latest inspection, Siskin Infant and Nursery School received 10 outstanding, 14 good and three satisfactory judgments. Inspectors found no area of the teaching or facilities to be inadequate.
Lead Ofsted inspector Bernice Magson said: 'This is a good and improving school... with many outstanding features.
'Pupils achieve well because the teaching is consistently good or better, behaviour is excellent, leadership and management are excellent, and the school's success in raising standards demonstrates its excellent capacity to improve.'
There were only a couple of suggestions as to how the school could improve.
Ms Magson said: 'To make your school even better we have asked your headteacher, staff and governors to do three things.
'We think that, in lessons and in your exercise books, the teachers could tell you more about how well you are doing and the next steps to take to get even better.
'In years one and two, we would like to see a greater range of things for you to do to improve your reading and writing. Also, we think that some of the teachers should have more opportunities to help in the development of your school.'
Headteacher Rose Smith came in for particular praise.
Ms Magson said: 'An outstanding headteacher, ably supported by the deputy and chair of governors, has established a very effective and committed team of staff and governors.'
Ms Smith said: 'This is one of the best reports we've ever had.'
Ms Smith said she was particularly pleased with one comment on the report. She said: 'One parent told the Ofsted inspectors, "this school is like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in the area that it is in". '
