The life and adventures of a Gosport engineer have been told in a new book.
Vic Hutfield was a pioneer in the transport world in the early 20th century, ambitiously building an array of vehicles and planes in his home town of Gosport.
His great niece Brenda Gilbert compiled the autobiography from extracts from Vic's diary, called Gosport's Unknown Engineer, all about the life and works of her relative, who died in 1966 aged 78.
The book is now available to buy from the Discovery Centre in Gosport and costs £5.95.
The full article contains 100 words and appears in NS-Fareham & Gosport newspaper.
