PODGY pooches are to be put through their paces when a pet charity come to town next week.
The PDSA PetCheck tour is due to stop off in Gosport on Wednesday, October 8.

A veterinary nurse will be on hand to give free health checks to dogs, examining their weight, teeth, eyes and condition of their coat. The stop-off is part of nationwide tour.

The PetCheck vehicle will be outside the PDSA shop in High Street, from 10am to 5pm.

For safety reasons, only dogs can be brought along but advice is free on other pets.

Details: freephone 0800 917 2509.
