A CHARITY shop is to open its doors again after refurbishment.
The British Heart Foundation shop in Gosport High Street will be open for business on Thursday.

Wave 105 radio breakfast show presenter and News columnist Steve Power will be there to cut the ribbon on the day at 11am.

The refurbished shop will have new lighting, laminate flooring and a smart new sign over the door.

Angie Vidler, the charity's area manager for shops, said: 'We are delighted with the changes that have been made to the shop – it looks fantastic.

'We hope that the local community will continue to support the shop as they have done so magnificently in the past.'

The charity is also appealing for volunteers to work at the shop doing work stock sorting and pricing, doingwindow dressing and giving sales assistance.

To find out more about volunteering in the shop, or to arrange free collection of unwanted goods, call (023) 9252 7764.
