Life's a beach down at Stokes Bay

AT the end of a gloriously sunny week there are still plenty of people heading to the beach to get an early start on the tan.
With soaring temperatures and blue skies, many people have rushed to the seaside to take advantage of the hot weather.
Grandmother Jackie Potter, 53, from Fareham, made the most of the sunshine by taking her two grandchildren to Stokes Bay beach yesterday afternoon.
'They were watching their grandad fishing,' she said.
Tiffany Killick, five, and sister Kayleigh, four, were thrilled to be beside the sea in the hot May weather.
'It was just nice to be down there, said Mrs Potter. 'I picked them up from school and took them down to the beach. They were collecting shells.
'It's nice to get them out in the fresh air.'
