Talented youngsters are taking to the stage this week to showcase their acting skills and perform in a series of shows.
The Fareham & Gosport Drama Festival sees pupils from six schools across the two boroughs showcasing their talent. They include children from Crofton School, pictured in a production of Peter Pan.

The festival is part of the Shine Week – a national celebration of young people's talent.

Annabel Cook, the director of the Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham where the festival is taking place, said: 'This is a celebration not only of young people's talent but also the variety of theatre.'

Portchester Community School, Cams Hill School, Bay House School, Brune Park Community School, Neville Lovett School and Crofton School, are all involved.

Each day the youngsters will be taking part in various drama workshops, and then performing in the show Variety is the Spice of Life in the evening.

Performances run from tonight until Friday, starting at 7.30pm.

To buy a ticket, please call the Ashcroft Arts Centre Box Office on (01329) 223100.
