A firm of solicitors in Gosport has got into the business of offering free legal advice.
Swain and Co has won a national bid to provide advice to people about community care.

The service involves advice sessions which operate on a drop-in basis at the Gosport Voluntary Action Group.

Kelly Evans, a community care lawyer, said: 'Many people experience difficulties in obtaining the level of support they need, and we will advise people about what they are entitled to and the support they rightly require.'

Cherry Everitt, a client from Gosport, said: 'There is nothing like this in the area, nothing really in Hampshire, not advice centres people can just drop in to.

'At least Gosport will now get this opportunity. It is much needed.'

The free advice sessions are held at the Gosport Voluntary Action Group, Pavilion Way, Gosport, from 1pm 4pm every Monday.
