Teenagers admit kicking man to death

Two teenage yobs have admitted kicking a father to death in the grounds of a church.
The youths set upon Bill Wickham close to the Holy Trinity Church in Gosport last February.

Mr Wickham, 44, suffered horrific head and neck injuries as a result of the joint attack.

Mr Wickham of South Street, Gosport died at the scene from his injuries.

At Winchester Crown Court a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, both from Gosport, admitted murdering Mr Wickham.

The youths, who can't be named for legal reasons, have been remanded in the custody until they are sentenced later this month.
