POLICE today vowed to continue looking for a fourth man suspected of carrying out a violent armed robbery in Gosport.
A team of detectives are tasked with searching for Scott Kenny who is on the run following the raid on the Co-op in Bridgemary.
Two other men, Karl Sidwell and James Blair, were cleared of any involvement in the robbery during which more than £60,000 was taken.
Detective Constable Dave Bone, from Hampshire police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit, said they would do everything they could to find Kenny, 22, who is from Coventry.
'A warrant for his arrest is still outstanding and we will do everything in our powers to make sure we catch up with him,' he said.
'Kenny should not be approached by members of the public given the violent nature of the Gosport robbery.
'But we are very keen to hear from anyone who has information about his whereabouts.
'We will not stop looking for Scott Kenny until we have found him.'
Det Con Bone said police would also continue to try to recover the money that was stolen during the robbery which took place in December last year.
Armed robbers ran in to the Co-op in Gregson Avenue and made off with cash boxes containing around £65,000 last December.
During the robbery one teenage shopper was attacked with a crowbar.
The gang then made off in a Volkswagen Golf that was parked outside the shop.
Detectives later recovered around £23,000 of the stolen money by a nearby lake, but the remaining cash is still outstanding.
Sidwell, 22, Blair, 21, and a third man, David Ball, 21 of Binley Woods, Coventry, were arrested and charged with the robbery.
Ball admitted taking part in the robbery and will be sentenced at a later date.
But Sidwell of Christchurch Road, Holbourne, and Blair, of Coventry, were cleared of any involvement during a trial at Portsmouth Crown Court.
Sidwell was found guilty of a separate charge of going equipped for theft.
The charge related to when he and Ball were arrested in the New Forest area in February 2008 and officers found a 'robbery kit', including masks and fake number plates, in the back of their van.
Sidwell was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on September 8.
