Bedroom window blown out in blaze

FIREFIGHTERS spent more than an hour tackling a blaze in a terraced house at Havant.
A bedroom was destroyed in the fire, which broke out shortly before 4.30pm yesterday.

No-one was injured in the blaze, which blew out the bedroom window of the brick-built house in Knox Road, near the Bedhampton level crossing gates.

The fire was put out by 5.30pm. The cause of the blaze is not known.
