They formed a bond at college and celebrated together last night after achieving brilliant A-levels.
Anthony Cooper, Richard Bateman, Tom Price and Aaron Drury, all 18, scored top marks in their 12 exams at South Downs College in Waterlooville.

Tom scored As in history, business studies and English literature and language, and will go to Sheffield Hallam to read English and history.

Tom, of Oaklands Road, Havant, said: 'There's a mixture of feelings about leaving the lads but I can't wait to meet new people.'

Aaron scored As in ITC, business studies and accountancy and finance. Anthony has a C in media, an A in English language and a B in ITC.

Richard will go to Portsmouth University with a C in media, a B in English literature and a C in sport.
