A plea has gone out for wool to help keep pets happy and healthy.
Selsey PDSA supporters are appealing for spare wool to be donated so they can knit matinee coats, baby cardigans and other items for sale to raise funds to help support the PDSA PetAid hospital in Waterlooville.

PDSA community fund-raising manager Brenda Alexander said: 'Selsey PDSA supporters sell hand-made arts and crafts as well as PDSA stock on stalls at local events. But they are desperately short of wool. If you have spare balls of wool at home, please donate them to the PDSA.'

Balls of wool can be taken to the PetAid hospital at 5 Durley Avenue, Cowplain, Waterlooville.
