A COMMITTEE set up to oversee the planned changes to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, is to hold its final two meetings.
The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee looking into the Fit for the Future decisions will hear the views of MPs, councils and campaign groups.

They will meet at County Hall, Chichester, at 10.30am on Wednesday. The meeting will be webcast online via the West Sussex County Council website.

Representatives from the three hospitals most directly affected, St Richard's Hospital in Chichester, Worthing Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath, have been invited to attend the meeting.

Local authorities representing the residents affected by any changes to hospital services in the future are also being invited.

These include councils from East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Portsmouth, Brighton & Hove and Surrey.

The meeting will focus on the decisions made by West Sussex Primary Care Trust on future health services and where the major general hospital is going to be.
