A former head boy of a Portsmouth secondary school has organised a reunion for former pupils.

Robin Argent is hoping as many old boys as possible from Brunel Secondary in Drayton Road, North End, will be able to make the get-together on Saturday night.

He was head boy in 1969 at the school which would eventually become Mayfield.

The reunion, for pupils who attended the school in the late 1960s and early 1970s will be held in Oxfordshire at The Lambert Arms, London Road, Aston Rowant, Watlington, from 7pm,

Robin said: It is not being held in Portsmouth because Oxfordshire is more central for those who are coming. I’m coming from Ireland for the occasion.’

He can be contacted on (353) 87907 9782 or (353) 90644 8756.
