Regular contributor Simon Hart, of Cross Street, Portsea, wanted to share this photo of his great uncle Keith Fethstonehaugh.

He is pictured rowing a boat on the Hilsea Lido pleasure gardens site in 1947.

Keith grew up at Cosham and Simon says: ‘It’s difficult now to imagine those carefree days with flyovers and over-sized roundabouts dominating the landscape.’
