Have your say

In the 19th century, Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth, had many fine, large, terraced houses occupied by naval, commercial and professional people.

The photograph (bottom left), taken in 1970, shows Lillie and Co (later Tagarts Ltd), timber importers and box makers.

The road was extensively redeveloped and widened from this period onwards with only the trees surviving in the modern photo.
