Have your say

This is how Portsmouth used to do things in the old days. Can you imagine this happening today? Nor can I.

On the reverse of the postcard, the correspondent writes, ‘A trolley that travelled around town during Coronation Week. It has over 1,650 light bulbs costing £8. With the photo on the side casing and the coat of arms, the whole cost £16.’

Sadly the recipient and sender are not discernible.
