Have your say

As you may well imagine, this year is the anniversary of several very important occasions and I’m being swamped by readers asking for my assistance.

I will do what I can, but only have so much room for each item.

Alan Milton has asked me to assist with finding the following five men who were employed by the City of Portsmouth Passenger Transport Department (CPPTD) and lost their lives in the First World War.

I have been through all my records, but I cannot help him.

The five are: H Cox, JR Gissing, E Payne, E Riordan and ES Green.

I just wonder if E Riordan was a relation of former News columnist Jim Riordan?

If you know of any of these men and perhaps have a photograph of them, Alan would like to hear from you.

Please let me know and I will pass on the information. Thank you.
